Buttons: manufacturing process

Brass and stainless steel caps can be stamped with your logo, type or other graphics. Stamping is relatively fast and inexpensive, providing an attractive, long-lasting, high-quality- button. Alloy caps are made from a casting process, which is more expensive than stamping and requires a longer development time. Iron shanks, brass shanks and all nails are die cast, while plastic shanks and threaded nails are injection molded.
