Snaps

Snaps are the primary fastener on a wide variety of garments, ranging from surf wear to infant wear. They are used as closures on heavy jackets, back pockets, and traditional western-style snap-front shirts. Snaps are attached with automated equipment very similar to that offered for tack buttons and rivets. Most snaps are 24 line. For children's clothing and other uses, a 20 Line snap is common.
